DSM-1 disk drive resource page – New 03/31/02

The original manufacture drive for the DSM-1 is a Sony MP-F73W-00D. I have
no idea if this drive is still available. If you have information, please let me know.

However, I do know a replacement drive for the DSM-1 is available at a very
reasonable price. Route 66 Studios is the place to go to purchase your DSM-1
drive replacement. When you order your drive from Richard, be certain to tell
him you heard about the replacement drives from me. J

I have recently installed and tested one of Richard’s replacement drives in my
DSM-1. I have have executed all disk functions for testing. I am VERY happy to
report that the replacement drive performed all expected functions perfectly.
Richard’s work is great for all DSM-1 users. Even if your DSM-1 drive is working,
you should pick up a spare. That’s what I did.

new drive in the DSM-1 drive. It is not a difficult task. But, there are many tips in the
instructions I am sure you will appreciate.
