Maplin 8 way MIDI 'Thru' unit ----------------------------- The zip file contains scans of an article showing how to build an inexpensive 8 way MIDI 'thru' box which eliminates the usual daisy-chaining of MIDI devices, causing MIDI delays and other problems. Schematics, PCB layout, parts list and documentation is included to make it a complete project which should be suitable for someone who's a little handy with a soldering iron. It was taken from "Electronics -the Maplin magazine" (October 1989) and the PCB was available from the same company. It's uncertain if the printed circuit board (PCB) is available from the any longer, but you can contact them (http://www.maplin.co.uk) and ask if you don't want to make your own PCB out of the scanned PCB layout image included in this file.
